We have opened our family’s first restaurant under the name John Bull Automobile Pub, which was a novelty to Budapest’s restaurant scene 20 years ago. All family members participated in the alignment of the gastronomic details, with respect to tradition, but with openness to modernization at the same time.

In 2010 we surprised our guests with a new name and a new design. Our grand salon with it’s smooth swing atmosphere and its warm colors are connected to our French colonial style orangeire – however, if you seek privacy, our intimate private dining room would be your perfect choice.

As most of our clientele are frequently returning guests, we are adjusting our offerings to their taste – whether if it is the traditional gradma’s kitchen, or the modern European gastronomy. Our recepies and ingredients arrive from all over the world, scouting for exciting, but still harmonic tastes. Our guarantee to achieve results are the combination of carefully selected and controlled quality ingredients, modern technology, and talented personnel.

We devote an excessive importance to our diverse wine selection – representing well-known vineries as well as small producers’ specialities.
